Twitter Launches a New Interface – Twitter is testing a new interface that will soon be implemented for all users. The company has confirmed this information and added that the users of Twitter for iOS and Android will be among the first to see the changes. The new Twitter interface brings changes in elements position as well as functionality enhancements. The “Who to Follow” and “Trends” options will be moved to left. The main navigation bar has been modified and contains new icons for “Home”, “Connect” and “Discover”. Search bar is now smaller and has been moved to right. The “new tweet” box is now in the left column, along with other tools, separated by the content stream.
CES 2012: “Dragon Go” – The First Serious Competitor for Siri? – Launched at CES, Dragon Go seems to be the first serious competitor for Siri in the Android devices market. Powered by Nuance Communications, Dragon Go is a voice control application for semantic search. Dragon Go cannot provide the same integration as Siri on iPhone yet, but in terms of content search it might even overcome the iOS application. With over 200 content sources, from Dictionary.com to Fandango, Dragon Go for Android can find instantly your favorite music on sites like Spotify or Pandora. The producer says that Dragon Go works on any Android device, but some models may need further optimization.
AcerCloud – First Official Information – Acer has provided the first information on AcerCloud, a solution that allows user access to all personal smart devices, anywhere, anytime. Integrating Always Connect, users can view and download multimedia and personal data from anywhere, even if the PC is in sleep mode. AcerCloud allows users to view photos taken with a smartphone on the go. After that, users can find them already stored on the home or office PC. The process eliminates the need to transfer files manually. AcerCloud will be offered as a bundle when buying a new Acer PC starting in quarter two of this year. The solution will be compatible with all the Android devices, the support for Windows-based equipment following to be developed in the near future.

Equipped with an Energizer battery, the mobile phone offers up to 10 hours of conversation, according to the official website of SpareOne. Producers promise a 15-year lifetime for the phone bought now and charged with an Energizer Ultimate Lithium L91 battery. The device is intended for emergency situations, whether you keep it in the glove compartment or in the backpack used in long trips. SpareOne can be programmed with emergency phone numbers and can transmit the location automatically. The handset will be sold first in the U.S. at a price of $50.
