Google has introduced a FREE energy monitoring application that helps you save energy and money! It’s called Google PowerMeter. This tool allows you to view your home’s energy consumption from anywhere online. Using energy readings provided by smart meters and energy monitoring devices, Google PowerMeter allows users to view their homes energy consumption from anywhere online. The application is free with the purchase of the actual smart meters. Smart meters start at $199.95. A small price to pay for a lifetime worth of savings.
